Easter

We went up to Salt Lake for Easter this year with my family. We drove from nice sunny St. George to freezing cold South Jordan.... something is wrong with this situation, leaving warm for cold!? Ahh! We had such a fun weekend though, it was all worth it!

Sisters and our Mamma!

My sister from Idaho and her family came down for Easter as well, so we had a full house.

On Saturday we did the traditional egg hunt with all the kids and adults too. This is our attempt of a picture of all the grand kids....

Since Claire can't walk yet, Jacob and I hunted her eggs for her. She may have been sorely disappointed in the number of eggs we collected had she been older, but I knew Jacob and I would end up eating it all so I wasn't in too big of a rush. :)

The 4 youngest cousins. They were all born last year. Daxton and Kate are 1 and Kole and Claire 10 months.

After the Easter Egg hunt we had delicious homemade Cafe Rio pork salads that were to die for. I keep thinking I'll get sick of them one of these days, but it has yet to happen. We even had Strawberry Shortcake for dessert, we were in heaven. Claire even loved it too!

After dinner the kids played until they were all beyond tired and functional.

On Sunday we stayed and went to church with my parents and Claire got to wear her new Easter dress. She looked adorable.

The sweater is a little hot for St. George now, so wearing it in Salt Lake was perfect.

Claire got some bath toys for Easter this year! She LOVES the bath, so this will only add to her fun. I'm excited for her to use them.

After dinner we all took much needed naps and then the Cramers came over to visit before we left.

Claire and Kole play so good together, probably because neither of them are mobile yet or can talk, but it works! Too bad we don't live closer so they could play more often.

Claire was just getting used to Grandma and then we had to leave. Hopefully they will be down to visit soon!

Claire's face in this picture kills me, like she has to keep her eye on Kole so he doesn't pull a fast one! HAHA

We had such a fun time in Salt Lake! Thanks Mom and Dad and fam for the Easter festivities! Next trip to Salt Lake will be to run my Half Marathon in June... AHHH!
