MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

HOPE EVERYONE HAD A MERRY CHRISTMAS! WE ARE OFF TO ANTIMONY TOMORROW FOR A NICE 5 DAY VACATION... HOPE WE DONT FREEZE! :) WISH US LUCK! HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Obsessed!

So of course I've been reading a million pregnancy books but Rach gave me this one and it's halarious!! Any prego people out there def need to read it. So blunt and honest but so true. I'm also reading the normal what to expect when your expecting and I'm about to start a book called something about the baby whisperer... Heard it's really good! But this Jenny Mcarthy one is a must read! Thanks again Rach, I'm totally loving it! I'm about 11 weeks along now and I feel like I'm kinda getting a little belly, at least at night.. Kinda pokes out! It's all getting so exciting... Can't wait for what's to come! Maybe once I'm done feeling nauteous 24/7 it will be even more exciting!

Mommyhood here I come....

Yep its true, I'm prego!! We are so excited, I sometimes cant believe its really happening!! We have been wanting a baby for so long, I cant believe its finally happened! We are so extatic to be parents, a little nervous, but cant wait! I am 10 weeks along and due on June 30th! I've been nauseous pretty much 24/7 but nothing much more then that so I cant complain too much! We were able to hear the heart beat a few weeks ago and it was AMAZING! Cant believe that such a tiny little thing can already have a heartbeat! We have our second appointment this Wednesday and are super excited! Hopefully I dont get fat to soon but with all my random cravings I wouldn't be surprised! McDonald's french fries are healthy right? :) Jacob has been amazing through all of this thus far and I think is more excited then me at times! He is going to be such a cute daddy! We are just so greatful to have the opportunity to be parents and cant wait to see our little babe!

Deer Hunt Part 1

Last weekend we headed down to Antimony, once again, but this time for the deer hunt. Jacob actually had a tag for this one so we were on a mission. He left on Friday and scouted things out and then I got there on Saturday afterwork. He didnt see too many beforehand but was still hoping to get one. He didnt end up getting one last weekend, but we still have this weekend! I am crossing my fingers he gets one! I got to go with him hunting a little on Sunday and it was super nice weather and we got to cruise around on the 4 wheeler! I got to sport some awesome bright orange and some jeans Ive had since sophomore year in High school... gotta love it! It was super fun! Hope this weekend serves us a little better then last!

Camping Trip

So we have decided to start a new tradition with our friends and go camping every year! This year it was obvious the first but so fun! Dan and Erin left the kiddos at home and us 4 went camping up the canyon above Antimony. We were super nervous cuz the weather was supposed to be terrible, and trust me there was some cold moments, but between our many layers and the fire (that we still smell hints of) we kept plenty warm! We had sooo much fun! The trip consisted of alot of shooting, fishing, watching a pig get killed and gutted, exploring around and campfire time. We had lots of laughs and definitely alot of memories were made! Thanks Dan and E for such a good time, cant wait till next year. We are gonna be seasoned campers! PS.. dont mind how disgusting we look in some of these pictures, thats what not having a shower for 4 days does to you.. SICK!!

My First Kill....

I am so proud of myself... I finally killed something, a moving something!! haha Last weekend in Antimony me and Jacob went out driving around in the new truck (the VERY old truck but new to us, thanks Grandpa!!) and we came across this little bugger! Jacob pulled over and gave me a good shot! I would love to say we were super far away and he was running like crazy, but he wasnt. We were quite close and he kinda just stood there... but I still hit it :) I made myself pick it up for the picture... I really didnt want to, but I couldn't let my first kill go unnoticed, so here is the evidence!! (Please notice my sleeve pulled down over my fingers while I am holding it, I was totally grossed out!!)We went on a fun 4 wheeler ride while we were there to in search of a good camping spot for our upcoming trip!! Only 2 more weeks... I cant wait!!

I got tagged for 50 random facts about us, here it goes:
~1: When I go grocery shopping I have to walk up and and down every aisle in the store even if I know I dont need anything on that aisle.
~2: I cant go one day without chewing gum.
~3: Everytime it rains, I wish I was curled up in a window seat in my house with a good book.
~4: Jacob looses everything and then I become OCD about finding it. Even if I dont need it right then, I need to know where it is. 50% of our lives is spent finding things Jacob "mis-places." :)
~5: If I could only put lotion on 2 places of my body for the rest of my life it would be my feet and my face.
~6: Me and Jacob are the biggest nerds ever... if you could spend a whole day with us you probably wouldn't want to be our friends anymore.
~7: I have probably fallen asleep in 90% of the movies I have ever watched.
~8: The night before we got married I made 90 sticky notes (for the 90 days we had been engaged) of things I loved about Jacob and put them all over our closet door in our new appartment. It was so fun to see him blush.
~9: I hate feeling up the gas in the car. Ask Jacob, I'll secretly have him take the other car when I know the gas light is on.

~14: Jacob is the best teacher, he is so patient. Especially when it comes to hunting. It gives him so much joy to teach me how to shoot guns and get dirty!

~18: Jacob won a shot gun at the fair in high school for shooting the most clay pigeons

So Cheezy.... but So Cute!

So, Jacob started his first college semester yesterday and I wanted to do something fun for him! I just remember my first semester of college (and only :) ), sitting in my history class and having to pop jolly ranchers every couple of minutes just to stay awake, so I thought a fun little treat basket would get him more excited for school! With a little help from Natalie, I thought up some cheesy quotes/phrases that had to go with each candy I bought and put them in a cute basket and surprised him. He was so excited!! Here are a few pics... my camera sucks so dont mind the horrible picture, but you get the idea....

Bear Lake

We just had our annual Bear Lake trip again last week with the family and it was as fun as ever! This was the first year that Jacob was able to come the whole time since last year he had to work for part of it! We enjoyed laying on the beach, boat rides, food, games, shooting and just relaxing! We were there for 5 days and it was AMAZING weather everyday we were there! I could have stayed another week at least. I miss laying in the sun everyday in the summer and soaking up the rays.... oh the life!! :) Thanks family for another fun trip! Sorry for the picture overload!

Date Night

Last Friday after work we did a fun date night with some of Jacob's buddies from Antimony! Scuba and Jazmin live up here and Brady is moving up here for school so it will be fun to have more of his friends from home around here!! We headed to the Mayan for dinner and I must say that place has gone down hill! The divers are still pretty sweet, but the food.... not so much! After dinner, we had about 2 hours to kill before the movie so we headed to the mall and walked around and shopped a bit. The boys sat on a bench while the girls shopped... so typical! :) After the mall we headed for the late night movie and then home! We had such a good time... It was fun being with old friends!
