Look what I can do...

After 2 weeks, I'm already a pro.....

Dont mind the fact I look like I'm 90.....

24th Of July

For the 24th this year we went up to Cole and Brittney's in Midway for a bbq and fireworks. We missed the Antimony trip this year because I had to work, but we still wanted to celebrate! It was fun to see Brittney's family again and watch the fireworks over Deer Creeek. We tried watching them from their backyard and there was a small tree in the way, but other then that it was perfect! Thanks Cole and Britt!

PS... I took my extensions out :( I am so sad, I miss them! They were growing out though so it was time. I think the saddest part is that I dont know if I'll ever be able to talk Jacob into letting my spend that much money on "fake hair" again... !! hehe, Im surprised I did it the first time! It just seems so short now and stuck in this stupid phase... grow hair, grow!!

The next time, on the 25th, my parents took the whole fam to the Days of 47 rodeo. It was at the Ecenter this year so it was closer, which was nice. The whole fam packed up, minus Lins & Russ and Josh and headed to the rodeo! It was sooo fun! I'm obsessed with rodeos.. they are seriously my favorite! It was fun to see the little kids reaction to the animals/cowboys.. Livvy just kept saying "WOW" and Carter just loved being able to scream as loud as he wanted. Here a few pics from the evening... They had to go buy little Aiden these ear plugs cuz it was so loud and it was scaring him.... but of course they were for adults so they totally stuck out of his ears! He was such a good sport! And getting even more adorably chunky by the day!!

Sewing Machine

So, for my birthday I got a sewing machine from my wonderful mother. I have had this obsession about wanting to make cute baby things, for the kid I dont have.... but they are just toO cute not to make. I cruise blogs all the time when I am bored and find all these adorable things to make. Rachael got a sewing machine a few weeks before I did and inspired me even more to get one. So we decided to do a little sewing project together and lets just say, it was def. our first one. lol they turned out cute, from a far.... but I think I got a little over ambiguous and went for a too complicated of a project. I'm not going to go into all the errors we made, but we were still pretty proud. Dont mind how nasty we look... we had been laying out at the pool all day at it was like 1 AM when we finished. It was so much fun though, I seriously havent laughed that hard in I dont know how long. We were dying. I have freakin missed Rotch and am glad we are sewing buddies!! So yeah... here are the pics... lol (Rach dont kill me! :) )

Random....

So my husband is home from Denver.... yahoo!!! And one of his first weekends home he went camping with my brother in laws, go figure :) This really is way random, but this picture totally cracks me up, for all of you that know Jacob, this fits him to a T... I'm just glad I didnt realize this was how he was living for 3 days before he left because I may have had a panic attack.... but its not like he's an amatuer camper so whatever......

Rest of Denver/My Birthday!!!

While I was in Denver the last time, it just happened to be my birthday! It was great to be with my husband and have the day off. It was a full day of shopping, laying by the pool and reading.... what more could I ask for? Oh yeah... presents!!! haha We got up early and opened all my presents before the festivites began, so dont mind my "morning" look. Jacob did such a good job picking out all my stuff. He bought me a few things and then I picked out some jeans! He is such an awesome husband.

It was such a fun birthday, I cant believe I'm 22.... wow i'm getting old! :) Erin's birthday is like 5 days after mine so all the girls went out to dinner for our b-days. We missed Rach but still had a good time!

So Much To Blog About.....

Now that I finally have fun things to blog about, I get behind once again. So its my goal tomorrow to blog about.... The rest of my 4th of July in Denver, My new job, My 22nd Birthday, Jacob is home!!, No More Extensions, and craft night! Wow.... I didnt realize there was so much! But now that I have my laptop I can blog away... yay! This post really has no meaning I guess, just to let you all know that I am updating tomorrow and there should be plenty to read about then. AND... ps, my new obsession is Yoga. Natalie introduced me to it and I'm totally hooked! Jacob even went with me on Monday! (He is WAY to good to me!) But I love it, I kinda wanna buy my own mat. Anybody know of some cheap places to get one? Natalie told me a website, but does anyone know of any other places?? I want to eventually be able to do this....

If I can look like this just by doing yoga.... I'm all over that!

Denver Trip #3- Day 1

I guess this is technically Day #2, but I got here late Friday night so I'm not counting that! I'm here again in Denver and having so much fun. I got here late Friday night and am staying till Monday. We got up Saturday morning so excited for the 4th of July Festivities. We researched a little and found what we thought to be a little celebration in a nearby town called "Golden". So we got all ready and grabbed our blankets and jackets considering the downpour that was supposed to occur later on and headed out. Its about a 30 min drive so it wasn't too bad. When we got there we were so confused, we couldnt find the festivities anywhere. So we parked and walked along main street and looked at all the cute shops along the way. There was this cool Indian store and I couldn't resister taking a picture of this.

After trecking all over town we stopped and asked someone where it all was going on. We finally found the spot and boy was it nothing like we expected, like not even close. People had brought like tents and BBQ's and all that jazz and there were those blow up jumpers for little kids and that was it. Apparantly it was like an "entertain yourself" type of thing which we werent really planning on. Not to mention it was a bit trashy... lol... so we walked around for a bit and took in the scenery and headed home. We were so bummed but oh well. It started downpouring on the way home, so we were glad we left. We sat in the car for like 15 min when we got home, hoping the rain would stop, but now such luck. I ran like 2 feet to the apartment door and was soaking wet. It was insane!!

We came home and watched a movie and headed to the hot tub. After that we found some firworks close by that were supposed to be really good. They were seriously some of the best fireworks I have every seen. They like started out with a finally (spell??) type deal and then they lasted for like 30 minutes and then had a HUGE finally at the end. They were so pretty! It was fun spending our first 4th of July married in Colorado, something memorable I guess. So while we waited we took a few pics... of course!!

Now its Sunday and we are off to church soon in hopes of some good weather later!

Denver Trip #2

I took my second trip to see my hubby in Denver about 2 weeks ago. Once again, it rained almost the whole time I was here. Honestly, am I bad luck or something?? Its so annoying... I get so excited to lay out while Jacob works and it never happens. So annoying! But I got here Friday night and Jacob greeted me at the airport with flowers!! So sweet! I got in pretty late so we just headed home and went to bed. Saturday Jacob left for work and I was stuck inside all day becuase of the stupid weather. I got alot of reading done, which was fun and alot of relaxation. Once Jacob got home we headed for dinner and Sweet Tomatos (Our fav place) and then headed for the bowling ally.
Seriously, I havent been bowling in years, and I am terrible but it was so fun! We payed for like unlimited games for 3 hours and I think we may have gotten a bit ahead of ourselves. After 2 games my fingers hurt from the stupid holes in the balls and Jacobs legs were killing him from his workout the day before! (Wow we sound old) I got a few pics though and it was still really fun!! I think I only won 1 game, and not by a high number mind you, and Jacob won the other 2. We both suck, so it was just fun to goof around. Everyone around us was on like leagues and such so all my gutter balls became kinda awkward....!

The next day the sun finally came out! It was so hot so we went and layed at the pool! Like half of the pool is shallow and they have those really low lawn chairs that sit in the shallow end in the water and its so nice. I sat there all day and read my book and basked in the sun. Well since I was sitting in the chair/water I didnt feel all that hot or like I was getting anything. But boy was I wrong. I went in later that day and was fixing dinner for the boys. I was feeling really hot and went and looked in the mirror, I was bright red!!! It was out of control. This is the burn and the flowers Jacob brought me to the airport.

I left the next morning at like 7 AM! It was so early and then my stupid plane was delayed so I was stuck in the airport for an extra hour. But it was a super fun trip and I got to see my Hubby!

Girls Night

Now that all of us our pretty much married we have been trying to have girls nights out every now and then. It still so fun to get together and talk and laugh and eat of course. It started out being a "healthy" night but Erin put the kibosh on that right away and we decided on Pizza and lots of Diet Coke! We all met at Erin's new house, which is adorable! We ordered Pizza and planned on watching the Notebook. But I think we all maybe watched 2 minutes of the movie and then talked the rest of the time. It was fun to have Rachael and Kristin join us this time....! Hopefully they will become regulars. :) All the sudden it was midnight and we didnt even know it! So this picture is pretty scary, being so late and all, but we couldn't have an event without taking a picture for the blog.

Lumberjack Contest!

I'm really behind, wow, but I'm getting caught up today and staying caught up from now on. LOL I know I say that everytime, but I really mean it this time! So much fun stuff has been happening this summer and I'm sure there is going to be alot more to come... hoping at least! :) Like a month ago, Me and Erin and Dan and the kids went to the lumberjack contest at Thanksgiving Point. It was so fun. I honestly didnt know that such a thing exsisted. But it was outside on a super nice day so it was really fun! They do all these crazy things with lumber and it was just so fun to watch. We only stayed for a bit cuz the kids were getting impatient and hot and tired, but it was still so worth it! Thanks Erin and Dan for the invite. Since Jacob has been gone its kinda been a threesome, kinda pathetic, I know!
