5 Months!!

I'm slacking on my blog, one of my new years resolutions down the drain already!! I was thinking because I was prego I would have a little more to blog about but it hasn't really turned out that way! We've done a couple fun things over the past few weeks....

Jacob and I did a date night a couple week ago that was very much needed. We went to Sweet Tomatoes, one of our favorite restaurants, and then headed off to Color Me Mine to show off our skills! haha I decided to make some coasters....

... and Jacob a treasure chest piggy bank! (Don't ask! lol) We both found out just how un-artistic we really are. We were seriously there for like 5 hours. It was way fun but I think next time I will do like a plate or something that is a little less detail oriented. It took Jacob like 2 hours to just tape off his masterpiece. I would totally recommend it, its a fun date night... maybe just start off with something not quite as intricate. haha

I got a sewing machine for my birthday last year and haven't used it much since I haven't really had anything to make. (Until now with the baby of course) So while I was at work today Jacob decided to thread it up and get it ready to use. He then proceeded to find some spare fabric in the cupboard and whip up this little item for a surprise when I got home! He calls it my snack sack! :)

He is always cracking jokes because I'm hungry like every hour so he thought it might be nice to have something to carry my snacks in. haha He was totally kidding but I was cracking up that he even took the time to do it! So cute :)

I'm also finally 5 months along... happy 5 month pre-birthday to my baby GIRL!! We found out about 2 weeks ago that we are having a GIRL and couldn't be more excited. I was kinda convinced it was a boy because everyone is having a boy but guess we are different! It's so nice to be able to call her a "her" instead of an "it" and to start making all my fun crafts and get bedding and all that fun jazz! Here is my belly at 5 Months.. its starting to poke out more and more for sure and I'm loving it! Hopefully I will be able to start feeling her moving and kicking soon!

I wish I would take more pictures, I've been totally slacking because our camera is HORRIBLE! I cannot wait to get our new camera when the baby comes... hopefully I'll take more pictures that way!

Life is good! I've been working like crazy and Jacob is busy with school. We are headed to the Little America this weekend for Valentines so hopefully there will be pics of that to come!!
