Valentine's Weekend!

For Valentine's this year we kinda spoiled ourselves and headed downtown for some fun! Jacob planned it all and I was very impressed! It all turned out perfect! We started out by doing some baby shopping and found some awesome deals, which always makes it that much better! We found some adorable clothes, cute green baskets for my changing table and picked up our mattress for the crib I had ordered online!

Next... we raced downtown to go see "When In Rome". We got down there in plenty of time but the stupid parking garages at the Gateway were a disaster! There were like 50 people all looking for a parking spot at the same time. So after we drove around for like 30 minutes we finally got lucky and found a spot, making us only 30 min late for our movie!! WHAT A JOKE! The movie was pretty cute, but I can't say I would see it again.

We then headed to Little America to check into our hotel and get ready for dinner. Its such a fun little hotel and is nice to just get away, even if it is just downtown!

We've stayed here a couple times and have really nice rooms but I apparantly when I booked it this time I did something different cuz our room was kinda small. It was still really nice.. but not what we have had in the past. Oh well!

Gotta love self timer.. except when the stupid flash reflects off everthing! We decided to somewhat dress up for dinner this year, it was fun! We had to park so far away because of the masses of people downtown so I sent Jacob for the car while I waited in the room. I thought he was gonna honk when he got there but then there was a knock on the door and I opened it to these gorgeous things!

I was so totally surprised!! He had gotten them clear back before we left for the day and had kept them in the trunk in a stand so that I wouldnt see them! I kinda just thought I wasnt getting any since it was like 7 and I hadnt seen any, but I was so wrong!! He knows I hate just plain roses so he always gets the pretties arrangements! He is such a sweetheart, he knows I love surprises and flowers!

Then we were off to dinner at PF Changs, one of my favorites! The food was soo good... I ate way too much! We got like a 5 course meal and I was so stuffed! Thank heavens we had a reservation because otherwise the wait was 2 hours!! Yikes! We finished out the night with some nice back massages! I found this massage oil at Bath and Body works that smells divine and feels amazing!

We got like a Vanilla cherry flavor or something and it was amazing! We had to improvise seeing as to how I can't lay on stomache but it still felt amazing. Jacob even searched online beforehand to get some tips... haha... it is just the best! We finished off our weekend with a nice sleep in and then unlimited pancakes at IHOP this morning! It was such a nice little getaway for sure! Once again... I have the best husband, hands down! :) Love you honey, thanks for the fun weekend away!
