I originally wasn't due until November 26 but I couldn't handle being pregnant for 1 more day. All you other pregnant women know exactly what I mean. 1 day feels like eternity. It means being uncomfortable all day, no sleep, etc. Jacob thinks I'm being dramatic but he has no idea! :) So, I scheduled to be induced on November 20th at Jordan Valley Hospital!
After my labor with Claire I was absolutely terrified for round 2. Hers was rough, very rough. Thank heavens it wasn't... round 2 was fabulous! I arrived at 7:30 AM, got me hooked up on petocin and away I went. My Dr. came and broke my water at 10:00 AM, felt 2 contractions and asked for my epidural! :) I joked about wanting him born before noon and right at noon, I felt crazy pressure and called for the Dr. After 2 pushes my little guy was born.

I was instantly in love - how could I not be! He was perfect in every way and looked exactly like Claire!
Although he looked like Claire, I could instantly tell his personality and his aura were completely different. He is much more calm, fine on his own and sleeps like a charm.
He's also a little cuddler, which is fantastic. I could hold and snuggle him all day.
We brought Claire to the hospital to meet baby Stets and she did so good. Stets gave a her a little gift which was a "Little People" Noah's Ark. She loved it and instantly lined up all the animals on the chair -- which you can see in the pic.
She, of course, wanted to hold him and feed him and just take care of him. She's going to be a great big sister! (Once we can get past being loud and rough and just being a 2 year old! HaHa)
We came home on Thanksgiving Day and headed straight to dinner with the fam. I was feeling great so I figured why not... food makes everything better, right?
The next few days at home were full of lots of sleep (on Stetson's part), lots of snuggles and just time enjoying being a family of 4.
Love this little man like crazy! I was terrified to have a boy... I do girls, so I was nervous to learn all about boys but Stet's has made it nothing but easy. He is such a good baby, which I need, because Claire is a little bit high maintenance! He's so even tempered and just adorable! Can't remember what life was like before him. Grateful to have him be a part of our little family! We love you Stets!
