pOp!!

....This is about the only word that comes to mind when I look in the mirror these days. I am a mere 5 days from my delivery date and boy do I look it! Wowzers! So, just for my remembrance I am posting a pic of my belly at 39 weeks and 1 Day....

There is honestly not another inch available in my belly for growth room for this little girl, I'm sure of it, so it's a good thing I'm almost done! My Dr. appointment yesterday gave me great hopes of having this baby in the next few days, so now I guess we just continue to wait. Jacob and I went on a 2 hour walk last night and are planning another one for tonight... anything to help at this point. I haven't gotten desperate yet and been tempted to drink castor oil or anything extreme... that won't start till I'm past due :) It's weird to think that any day now I won't be pregnant anymore. Don't get me wrong, I'm extremely excited but it's going to be weird... it's been me for so long! I'm actually going to be a real mom, having to be responsible for a child... oh boy!! Of course I've known this was coming all along but the closer and closer I get to delivering the more real it becomes. I couldn't be more excited! So whatever you choose to call it, calving (according to my husband)...hatching... popping or birthing, I sure hope it happens soon. Send good vibes my way! Hopefully my next post will be to introduce the little one!
